Transpolis will increase its contribution to the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) after its accreditation to conduct official active safety system testing on passenger cars, vans and trucks.
Supported by a major local mobility ecosystem and strongly committed to road safety (infrastructures, passengers and VRU, vehicles), Transpolis started its vehicle testing activities in 2018 including pre-NCAP tests.
Since 2024, Transpolis has been supporting Euro NCAP’s new heavy truck rating scheme testing protocols, bringing to the table its expertise in commercial vehicles testing.

Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme) is the global benchmark for evaluating the safety of new vehicles. The tests, which follow strict protocols, are carried out by accredited independent testing laboratories. Vehicles are then rated from 0 to 5 stars based on their achieved safety levels. These assessments influence manufacturers and help consumers choose safer cars.
